EMERALD

The name comes from the Greek smaragdus and originates from a Persian term meaning “green stone.” The emerald was dedicated to the goddess Venus, is a symbol of beauty, and the color represents the rebirth of nature in spring. In Buddhism it is considered one of the “seven treasures” and corresponds to wisdom.
